AWS BugBust is powered by Amazon CodeGuru Reviewer and Amazon CodeGuru Profiler – developer tools that use machine learning to identify an application’s most expensive lines of code and provide intelligent recommendations to improve code quality by identifying critical security, availability, and performance issues.
With just a few clicks, Java and Python developers from around the world can join the challenge by creating an AWS BugBust event for their organization in the AWS console, and compete for prizes by claiming and busting bugs in their applications. The more bugs developers fix, the higher they climb the AWS BugBust leaderboard to receive achievement badges, exclusive prizes, and a chance to attend AWS re:Invent 2021 in Las Vegas.
